Good Monday Morning

Hello and Good Morning Everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend? I know I certainly did!! I was able to spend the majority of the weekend in my ARTHaven and it was so enjoyable!!

I was able to finally get a few things created and listed into My ETSY Store ….and had alot of fun doing so!! Thought I would share pics here….and if anyone is interested…I invite you to visit my store!!

See……I had alot of fun don’t you think!!! I will be creating more stencils…..the ones I used to sell before as well as new ones to come…..as well as more empheria items….the white backgrounds above of the butterflies & trees…were cut from white chipboard….the brown ones were cut from 1/8″ birch plywood…….which are perfect to color in so many ways…

Hey Hey Everyone!! I hope you’re all doing wonderful today….so far we’ve been blessed with a gorgeous day!!

So I know it’s been just a few since I’ve posted…..but I have been playing…just hadn’t gotten the chance to post….I thought this post would be catch up….then I get to allow myself to create more!!!

I’ll show you what I created for enjoyment for family treasures….then I’ll show you what I’ve created and have listed in My ETSY Store …..

I’m slowing getting back into scrapbooking for the family……so here’s a few pages I’ve created….they were fun to do and I think the grandkids will enjoy them……

Didn’t they turn out cute!!! The page above with the shaker turkey... I created the shaker card using my new toy….The We are Memories Mold Press…..I used my Glowforge to cut out multiple cuts of the Turkey shape I wanted….glued the layers together and then used that as my frame for the mold…It really did a great job forming to the shape!! I love it because now I can create any type of a shaker I want!!

Next I created 2 cards…..using my Glowforge to cut the intricate design…..

• I just gotta say….I love this machine…I’ve had it since 2018…..and every time I use it I fall in love with it all over again…knowing it will cut something so delicate to something like wood…..is amazing!!

Next I needed to make a tag for a group I belong to….. ARTful Sisters at Heart …..again I used my Glowforge…..

  The “Just Saying Hello” is cut from a die ……the tag base & topper are cut with my Glowforge….I just love the colors and the Spring feel of the tag!!!

How About a Tour…

Good Evening everyone and Happy Thursday!! Hoping you’ve all enjoyed a wonderful day and are looking forward to FRIDAY!! I was home today because of an ice storm….I do not do well driving on ice….so I stayed tucked in my home!! So, while home and a bit of time to spare I thought I would take the opportunity to do a craft room tour of my creative space….I’ve not done one of these since we’ve been in this home…

Hello Hello Everyone!! Hope this post finds you all doing well!! Goodness we’re having some weather here in my neck of the woods…I just hope it does not end up being a redo of 2009!! LOL.

We are in the midst of an ice storm….potential ice of up to 1/2″….there’s a lot of slip slidin’ around here!! I’m tucked safely in the house where I plan to remain til this nasty mess is gone!!

So I have taken some time in the past week and created another journal….this one is more of a Christian journal….so I don’t like the work “junk” being in that title!! So I’m calling it a Jesus Saves Journal…. I had a lot of fun creating it….and it’s inspired me to another idea for my next project….

But in the mean time I thought I would share pics here….and then a video so you can see the flip through of the journal if you care to see…and then you can also find it in My ETSY store if you’re interested in purchasing this one of a kind journal!!

Junk Journal – Such fun!

Hello Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone…Over the weekend I was actually able to spend sometime creating….I truly enjoyed it…it had been a while!

I decided on creating a junk journal….I started with using some drop cloth canvas, chose the graphics I wanted to use for the fabrics and printed them off with my sublimation printer and then pressed onto the canvas….they pressed so beautifully!

Then I created and gathered the pages and empheria I wanted to use or incorporate into the journal…..assembled and stitched together….it was alot of fun and I’m truly please with how it turned out….

Welcome-to my next generation of blogging!

Hello Everyone….My name is Penny Duncan, I would like to say thank you, for coming to visit my new blog…..I’ve decided to take an entirely new adventure once more into blogging…..

It’s been quite some time since I’ve taken the time to really share my creations as I make them with the blogging world…I’ve recently taken a huge step back from the main stream social media sites. I remember years ago when I first started blogging….it was such a fulfilling thing to do….then with the popularity of the social media sites it seems blogging went to the wayside…..

Well….I’ve decided to take a step back to what I enjoyed doing way back in 2008 and am going back to that once more….Here you will find me sharing pieces I’ve created and am listing in my ETSY Store….most items with be one of a kind pieces…..as I am enjoying the world of fabric, embroidery, sewing, "glowy" (as I loving call my Glowforge) and mixed media….I hope you’ll come along on my journey with me…I’m looking forward to getting back to the “ole school” way of sharing creations!!
